‘BKKABF(BANGKOK ART BOOK FAIR)’
Asian_Food_Design, Witti.Studio, The Uni_form Design Studio,
Spacebar Design Studio, Do not Design,
Facebook Live

book made from plywood to tell a story of a robot factory, illustration book made by sewing on fabric, etc.
Through video, infographic, and others, the work that we bring to BKKABF CO-OP will be presented in a unique way.

Samun Phrai Thai (สมุนไพรไทย)
Dohee Kwon
South Korea
——
We wanted to document medicinal plants used in traditional Thai medicine before the knowledge became lost.
Illustrator Dohee Kwon, Will from Dek Doi Chiang Dao and artist Note teamed up to create an art zine of plants documented in the village of Chiang Dao
in Northern Thailand with the help of a village elder.
We went trekking with Por Tai (the village elder) and he taught us about plants, trees, and animals. We documented what he said and took pictures of the plants.
Dohee transformed them into illustrations and Note created paintings inspired by those plants.

Aperture Brought Me Here
Thailand
——
In Popsicle District, Thai artist Wuthipol Ujathammarat attempts to create a striking series of abstract photographs in a work that peculiarly reveals a foreign perspective of Singapore.
It documents a fantasised aesthetic of the urban landscape where his visual expression expands through graphic imagination beyond photography.

We proudly present, ‘Collage Collab,’ a cooperative project inviting as many participants from different fields of study to join in on an experimental artistic mash-up
with THE UNI_FORM Design Studio.
Each will receive an art book with art/design elements under the theme ‘Utopia’, where participants are allowed to individually express their own interpretation.
This is the very first time THE UNI_FORM Design Studio proposes our unique collage style into a collaboration book, without having partakers join a physical workshop.
